When a foodie and an environmentalist get together..

Jonathan Gold is a food writer for LA Weekly, and has won a Pulitzer for his writing. Mark Gold, President of Heal the Bay, is his brother. One likes to eat everything. Everything. The other spends his life trying to protect much of what his brother likes to eat. Here, Mark Gold writes about his experiences in dining with his brother, who he describes as someone who has "spent most of his adult life chowing down on the marine critters I’ve spent over 20 years trying to protect." Yes, they may have differing opinions.
