Orange meets orange.

Dear Meredith:

Do enjoy this little video about love between oranges, and the marauding banana that threatens this love.

Sad Cat is funny!

Dear Jennifer,

Here is a funny, bittersweet web comic called Sad Cat. The titular character is a gray, fuzzy cat that can never get real love from its little boy owner. It feels wrong to laugh...and yet so entertaining.

To look so good at 50...

Dear Meredith:

Did you know that this is Barbie's 50th anniversary? I remember that I used to have a Barbie hair salon, that had a sink that you could somehow rig up so that water actually came out of the faucet. In honor of the big 5-0, check out this incredible detailed website that shows how Barbies are made.

If only we knew what the pets were thinking.

Dear Meredith:

What's cuter than puppies? Puppies forced to dress up in costume!

A spoonful of scotch makes the history go down

Dear Jennifer,

Remember American History classes at Westridge? If only O'Connell had taught after a few glasses of scotch or vodka (and if she had used Michael Cera for show and tell), then it MIGHT have been about as entertaining as this:

Go to Funny or Die for the sequels.

SWM iso SWF 4 <3

Dear Meredith:

Along the lines of yesterday's post, do enjoy this little compilation of personal ads that have been placed in the London Review of Books. I don't know how these gems didn't get picked up immediately.

"Let's not mess with nature. We are here to make babies. So, let's get to it."

Dear Meredith:

If you were a guy cruising for chicks, I'd send you this link. Just hit the refresh button, and a sparklin' brand new pick up line would be there, waiting for you to use it on some unwitting girl.

What the hell. I'm sending you the link to it anyway.

Techno children

Dear Jennifer,

This is a video my sound designer forwarded to me. Who says it's unhealthy to experiment with your work on children?

An addictive webcomic!

Dear Jennifer,

I know you may not truck much in the world of role-playing games, but a hardcore D 'n' D friend of mine has recently turned me on to the webstrip ORDER OF THE STICK.

Even if you do not understand all of the game references, it still becomes a highly entertaining and addictive story.
