I just want to know where he buys all the little dolls

This London-based artist takes little dolls, and strategically places them throughout the city (and other places), then photographs them up close and from far away, so you can see just how teeny they are. It's a fascinating exercise in scale.

OTHER creme de la creme

Oh LoLcats. Thank you for entertaining me for countless hours. You combine cuteness with geeky references in a way that always surprises and satisfies.

Two fabulous blondes

This YouTube video combines Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For" and animation from Disney's Alice in Wonderland. It works marvelously.

So excited for new television shows!

You know that it's a sad, sad couple of weeks when you are actually so busy you can't procrastinate. But you know what? With the writer's strike over, and all the wonderful, very dearly missed television shows coming back on the air, ah, I smell more wasting time ahead of me. In case you missed your favorite show, or you need to brush up (but, ahem, can't actually watch the shows online at work or wherever you are), check out the sites below. Television Without Pity gives more comprehensive recaps (they used to be funnier, but sadly aren't as snarky as they were before), while TVgasm recaps more reality shows, and they really let their mockery fly (their captioned pictures are especially priceless).

A Monster a day...

There is this incredible horror prop house - Dapper Cadaver - that makes terrifyingly believable props (corpses, monsters, etc.) that has its own blog. In its blog, they identify a new 'monster a day' that they find compelling. It's fun to scroll down through the list and learn about whole new things to have nightmares about.

Creme de la creme

One of my favorite procrastination sites of all time is Go Fug Yourself. Every time they make a reference to "Centerstage," giving their pictures snotty voices that scream out "And who are YOU?...NOBODY!" I fall in love with the site all over again.

This isn't like your typical celebutard-bashing site - they bring the nerd culture of several different genres into play. And that is what sets this site apart as pure genius.
