TGI weird

Did you ever need to see a dinosaur forcibly take a robot from behind? How about several comics starring Robot/Dinosaur liaisons?

Look no further:

Oh, it also requires some amount of bimanual dexterity.

Each level consists of two rooms (obviously) and two pieces. To pass each level, you have to move the two separate pieces, running into buttons that may activate or deactivate walls (and other objects). It requires both logic AND speed, and is strangely addicting.

Another gadget blog!

But this one focuses on the cool stuff and rumors - not as much the bizarre sideshow gadgets. It's a very informative and entertaining compilation of what's coming and what you need to know about what to buy.

The lore of Rape Bear

This is a funny website authored by a screenwriter out here in LA that "teaches" readers how to write for film and tv using ridiculously hilarious examples, and creates fantasy scenarios in screenplay format. By far one of the funniest is his pitch to Spielberg of his original work "RapeBear." Scroll down to "On Follow Up Calls" for the Rape Bear tale. (And there are quite a few others that are also entertaining, spend some good procrastinatey time poking around). In case you can't tell - none of this advice is actually helpful. For entertainment purposes only.

RAPE BEAR!

"We went to a museum! We saw priceless works of art!"*

Do you ever go to museums yet not really quite know what you're looking at, or why that particular piece of art even deserves to be there? Want to impress someone on a date? (Yes, I have gone on a number of dates at museums.) Just wish you had taken art history back in college? This amazingly comprehensive site will fill in those gaps in your knowledge.

*Bonus points if you know where this quotation comes from.

He saves children...

but not the British children. Happy belated President's Day.

Yes, I did like Ghost Town.

Fan of Ricky Gervais? (If you're not, don't tell me.) Follow his daily musings at the link below.

(This Youtube video, by the way, is one of my favorite Ricky Gervais moments, when he takes his Emmy back from Steve Carell during the 2008 Emmys.)
