Girls in a warehouse!

Dear Jennifer,
Here is the latest web campaign from AXE hair spray: Pictures of men are shown to a room full of women who then stand on the "yes" or "no" area of the room to vote for whether the dude's hair is "girl approved".

It is pretty hilarious to picture 100 girls being kept in a warehouse for the sole purpose of judging male hair.

I believe you will HEARTILY enjoy.

Brilliance with legos.

Dear Meredith:

YES IT IS FRIDAY!!! I am actually taking today off and am heading out of town for some snowy mountain action. Even though I hate snow. Hm. Maybe I should reconsider. And maybe you should knock off early also and start your weekend early. To inspire you, here is a Lego beer song. It is genius.

More fun with Movie Posters!

Dear Jennifer,

I submit for your entertainment a whole new blog with fun versions of movie posters for novelizations. I think my favorite may be HIGHLANDER:

There are bonus points if you can guess the Japanese translated one's original English title:

Conan vs. Colbert

Dear Meredith:

This made me laugh so much - a string dance-off between Conan O'Brien and Stephen Colbert.

If only they would collaborate more often. It would be comedic bliss.

Discussion topics that actually entertain

Dear Jennifer,

I don't often recommend personal blogs that only serve to publish an individual's opinions. However, I'm really digging "Brad's Ideas" as a well-written blog. He discusses his thoughts on things from the Bailout to Battlestar Galactica. His op/ed pieces are brief and well-educated. I'm especially a fan of his BSG critiques.

Have you started watching BSG? Do I need to remind you of its awesomeness?!

Go ahead and check out BRAD'S IDEAS for more goodness.

It's a good thing.

Dear Meredith:

To get you past hump day, take a gander at these lovely photographic vignettes. They certainly brought a smile to my face.

99 Things You Should Have Seen By Now

Dear Jennifer,

I hope you're having a great time, wherever you may be. When you do check in, you should give this a whirl:

Greg Rutter's 99 Things

He collects the top 99 things you should have seen on the Internet by now. Since you are so well schooled in surfing procrastination, I figured this list is more your Little Black Book and less your Bucket List.

But just in case.

The beauty of type

Dear Meredith:

Are you as big a font geek as I am? I can't remember. But combine fonts with shooting games - which you know I adore - and you have a bang-up game.

Cute paired with douche!

Dear Jennifer,

I hope you can take a few minutes out of your busy e-shopping schedule to take a look at this website. We all love staring at cute animals on the interwebs - but can you still look when they're photoshopped next to douchebags?

Exhibit A

Don't say I didn't warn you.

To start off your week...

Dear Meredith:

I know that Mondays generally suck. So here's a little perk-me-up, to get you going for the week!

You are awesome, and don't forget it.

(If you want to watch it in French, because you roll that way, here's the link.)

Random entertainment

Dear Jennifer,

I am so sad that you are away. What keeps me goin' is knowin' that we will always be connected through the beauty of procrastination. So if you're wasting some time on the internet, give this sucker a chance:

WRECK & SALVAGE

They collect random videos, quotes and pictures as they see fit for your random viewing pleasure. From warning labels on FEMA trailers ("Just know that prolonged exposure to formaldehyde is very deleterious to your health") to Blackstreet music videos to pictures like this:

Enjoy.
