Model/superheros for the win!

Dear Meredith:

I have no idea if this is going to be an actual webseries, but by golly, I really really really want it to be one. Heidi Klum and Coco Rocha are model/superheros who save the fashion world.

It's as if models and geeks mated, and Spiked Heel was the result. Please let there be more.

It's that time again - BSG webisodes!

Oh, Battlestar Galactica. When you're gone where will I get my space battles fix, mixed in with religious rambling that never truly makes sense? Please don't leave me.

At least in-between seasons they make lovely webisodes to get us through the dry times.

Acting with James Franco

Funny or Die is a beautiful thing. It allows celebrities a receptacle for their own viral videos. Sometimes you see a celebrity make a total ass out of themselves and realize how completely unfunny he/she actually is. And sometimes you get high comedy art.

From the maker of MAKING FIENDS

Here is another adorable, humorous animated webseries from Amy Winfrey, the creator of the webseries and television show "Making Fiends" that is now being produced by Nickelodeon. In this fun nugget, people are best by an enormous rabbit. Not surprisingly, it is called "Big Bunny."

Soon to be a Major Motion TV show!

This animated webseries is so adorable, it's been bought by Nickelodeon to be made into a television series. Who wouldn't love a cartoon about an evil little girl who makes her own best "fiends" - monsters from her kitchen that do her bidding.

Webseries with famous funny people

Check out the webisodes of "Children's Hospital" that the WB is putting out. They're written and directed by Rob Corddry and they are hilarious. Just so you know, there is graphic language involved, so it may not be appropriate for work. But, then again, it's so funny - who cares?

Who doesn't need helium at their side?

This is a bizarre collection of animated web shorts featuring August Strindberg and his imaginary wingman, a helium balloon. Strindberg's morose ramblings are amusing, but it's the random support of Helium in the background that makes this really funny. Special thanks to Kemper for this find.

A webseries from McG

Did you like "The O.C.?" Did you care for McG's feature versions of the "Charlie's Angels?" Well, even if you didn't, this webseries, created my McG with Warner Bros and MySpace a few months back, is a lot of fun because it's got a little bit of the horror genre thrown in. A sorority soap with a horror slant? Definitely sounds like more fun than doing my work.

Sick (in both senses) animation!

I was researching a comic book artist I have recently admired and discovered that he creates animated web shorts of a comical, and dark, nature. They're amazing. The "pilot" web short spoofs action movies, later web shorts include animated gore. What more could a girl ask for?

A webseries about living in the dorms

We all remember the days. Some of us will never be able to forget, no matter how hard we try. I couldn't choose a favorite episode, so I have posted the series link below. My personal favorite character is the extremely bizarre roommate to the main character. The actor somehow combines the otherness of John Malkovich with the grossness of John "Bluto" Belushi from Animal House into amazingness. Start with episode one, rinse, repeat.
