Angry continues to be funny

This website, Passive Aggressive Notes, collects pictures of notes, memos, and other public declarations of anger that are left for someone to read. Cowardly anger makes for some of the best anger.

For you inner statistics geeks

Every year, Nicholas Feltron compiles an annual report composed of things he'd done the previous year. Travels, drinks had, meals eaten out - it's all laid out in impeccable style.

After checking it out, if you feel similarly inclined to start collecting and communicating your own daily data, he's created DAYTUM, where you can enter your own random data, choose one of several display types, and start your own miniature personal databank.

Fun with history!

Kate Beaton is an awesome webcomic who makes "silly" comics that mostly star historical figures. Even if you don't get all the AP History in-jokes, you'll enjoy the undignified dialogue of rarified legends.

WELCOME TO KATE BEATON!

Like having paper dolls, but BETTER.

On this site, you can dress up your favorite celebrities in clothes they've actually worn in real life! Okay, you can also dress up random dolls (and pets) as well, but let's be real - dressing up celebrities is more fun. They're not all categorized (oddly enough) as celebrities, so you might have to do some digging to find them. It's a little price to pay, though, for being a temporary stylist.

Talk about Time Suck

Foolish Gadgets is a blog that seeks out the craziest stuff for sale and then tells you about it. Entertainment for hours!! This will definitely help me get through Fridays.

For example: SQUIRREL UNDERPANTS at Foolish Gadget

I like 4,5,6 line myself.

A charmingly-illustrated post about two young boys' love for the New York Subway.

And now, for a little culture

Poetry used to be a dying art. But with the glory of the interwebs, poets work can be published, shared and viewed at low cost to "publishers" resulting in wonderful websites like this one. Every day there is a new poem, so you can always check back in and search the history when you need a little beauty in your day. Send a love poem to that special someone! The best ones can be found here. Special thanks to Leslie for the find!

NIGHT FLIGHT

Looking at this page makes me hungry.

Ever go to a Chinese/ Vietnamese/ Korean/ etc restaurant and be completely confused by the non-Western foodstuffs located within? This website - most importantly, WITH PICTURES - tells you exactly what you're eating. She's even started to add non-Asian foods to her list. While the restaurants written about are located primarily in New York City, it's a handy guide nonetheless.

More LOLz!

This is a sister site to the I Can Has Cheezburger goodness. True to its name "Totally Looks Like" it compares photos of celebrities, pop culture characters, animated characters, etc. And you know what? Often pretty accurate.
