Gosh, I love this dreamy ad for Dior's Miss Dior Chérie perfume. It's directed by Sofia Coppola, and set in Paris. I think I need to move to Paris RIGHT NOW and have this sort of hazy rose-colored-lens happy life.

This is how I'm going to lead my life from now on.

A little punctuation goes a long way
Dear Jennifer,
You and I have wrassled many a comma when proofing one of your papers. Luckily for us, we at least have a good sense of when to use quotation marks.

Unfortunately, not everyone is so lucky. (Thanks to Kemper for the find!)

Predicting the future.

Dear Meredith:
I admit it. I still play MASH to this day. But I have never heard of some of these other MASH-type games that allow you to predict the viability of love matches, current or future.
The cootie-catcher: Blast from the past, glimpse of the future
Let's laugh at people!
Dear Jennifer,
It's Los Angeles, so we have some pretty colorful types walking around. Apparently, we're not the only place:

A bird's eye view.
Dear Meredith:
When I fly, I always try to get aisle seats. But watching this video, in which some fella videotaped city lights as he flew over them on a cross-country trip, is just so beautiful that I might reconsider the next time I fly get on a plane.

Thinking of sushi makes me hungry all over again.
Dear Meredith:
I love sushi. So much. I am a bit suspicious of conveyor belt sushi, though, because where does it go? What's the process? I need to see my sushi being made for me! But no longer - these curious souls put their video camera on a sushi conveyor belt so that we all may uncover the mystery.

Delicious or disgusting?
Dear Jennifer,I'm sure you are a fan of chocolate. I'm sure you are a fan of gifts. I'm sure you love a gift of chocolate.
But what about a gift that is literally all chocolate. Won't this just be a mess?
Check out this site and judge for yourself if you would like to buy these.

A little bit of whimsy for your Friday.
Dear Meredith:
It's Friday! Since it's probably a slow day at work, take the time to watch Le Ballon Rouge, or The Red Balloon, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes in 1956.
(To see it bigger, go here)

Twitterific!
Dear Jennifer,
Cliff's Notes may be out of a job. Twitter could be the new way to synopsize classic works of literature.
For instance: THE ODYSSEY on Twitter.
