Some of these are simply odd. It's compelling to learn about the rumors, informative about cool things that you can buy, and entertaining to see people invent things like the WowBacon cooker that lets you broil bacon in the mircrowave.

Wizard Magazine is one of my all-time faves. It has gossip, rumors, and critiques of all things comics (including upcoming movies and shows based on comics) and often throws non-comic Sci Fi and Fantasy in for good measure. It also has a lot of fun editorial pieces. I was going to look into prices for a new subscription and DISCOVERED THAT A LOT OF THEIR GOODNESS IS FREE ONLINE!
